Erasmus' question if there is such a thing as a just war, is still relevant today. Why the interventions in Kosovo, and why was the genocide in Africa allowed to continue? This episode is situated in England, where Erasmus had personal experience of the consequences of war. He was irritated by the hypocrisy in the de motives to wage war, and fought it with his pen.
